Dear Lindbergh Elementary School Families,

Welcome back to a brand-new school year! As we stand at the threshold of the 2024-2025 academic year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for all the wonderful possibilities that lie ahead for our students, staff, and families. It’s a joy to see our school buzzing with energy, as the hallways come alive with the laughter and enthusiasm of our students, eager to learn and explore.

At Lindbergh Elementary, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment where every student feels valued and inspired to achieve their best. We believe that each child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and potential, and we are dedicated to nurturing their growth both academically and socially.

This year, we are placing a strong emphasis on reading fluency as a cornerstone of our academic program. We will continue to work closely with your children to enhance their reading skills, and we are excited about the positive changes we've made to our schedule and curriculum that are designed to support their growth in this critical area. Research consistently shows that reading fluency is key to
academic success, and we are committed to providing targeted instruction and support to help each student develop as a confident, proficient reader. We encourage you to support this effort by reading with your child daily and fostering a love of reading at home. Additionally, we urge our students to
spend time reading on their own each night after completing their homework. Together, with your involvement and encouragement, we can help your child build a strong foundation in reading that will benefit them throughout their educational journey.

As we embark on this new journey, I encourage you to stay connected and involved in our school activities. Your participation and support are vital to our success, and we are excited to offer various opportunities for you to engage with our school community. Whether it's through our PTA, volunteering, or simply joining us at school events, your involvement makes a significant difference.
